Kenmore Front Load -- NOT Spinning just Clicking

We have a front loader Kenmore Elite washing machine (Model# 110 449 36200). The control panel reads "SUD". The tub will fill with water, but as it begins to spin it stalls and a clicking noise starts. We finally got the water to drain but the washing machine will still not spin - only click.

Any advice to begin diagnosing the problem would be much appreciated.

That machine was built by Whirlpool and is comparable to their "Duet" model.
