Dishwasher draining via airgap into sink & NOISE

[xx(] Jim, forgot to mention that after the plumber unscrewed the overflow valve, he pushed up the green tube (that goes inside the valve.) It wasn't high enough, plus like I said before the washer had to be installed inside the overflow valve from under the sink than on top of the sink. Hope that makes sense???
