    More information required

    We will need the appliance's model number to look up which type of icemaker is used in it. You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

    LINK > Model Number Tag Search

    ** Thawed it out **

    Thawed what out exactly??

      I thawed the frozen ice cubes out that were in the tray. It then filled them and dumped the cubes one time. It will then fill the trays & freeze but will not dump. Thanks for any help on this.

        That fridge model uses GE's electronically controlled icemaker (see the following link).

        There should only be two things that could cause that symptom with that icemaker design;
        1. The icemaker mold isn't getting cold enough for the icemaker's electronic control to detect ice has been made.
        2. The icemaker is defective and not detecting the frozen cubes in order to initiate a harvest (aka dump).

        Make sure there is nothing obstructing air flow around the icemaker and that the freezer compartment is cooling properly. It should be +5°F to -5°F not just below 32°F where water freezes. If those are not the problem, the icemaker likely needs to be replaced.

        On GE's electronically controlled icemakers there are no service parts available at all. If defective the icemaker has to be replaced.
