HELP! Fork in the garbage disposal!

my new garbage disposal is about 7 months old..it is a emerson E404..I was loading dishawasher and there were a few utensils laying in I turned it on and one of the forks went down in it and it went....

DING DING DING DING DING DING DING DING!

then i lost my contact

Get some pliers and pull out the fork. You may need to rotate the grinding disk with the supplied allen wrench. It fits into a recess in the bottom of the motor. MAKE SURE YOUR POWER IS OFF TO THE DISPOSAL.
