Kenmore free-standing ice maker

I have done all cleaning and "self cleaning" suggested by book. Water is there, just won't get cold. It's a 2003 Kenmore. Any suggestions?

call a service tech - there's nothing you can do to effect a repair. could be low on freon, water pump may be shot.

Is the compressor running? No cooling can take place without it.
