my dishwasher is leaking from the left bottom side under the door. I think it is the rubber installation but not sure. It happens when it starts to fill up with water.hmm maybe it is plugged if so how do I fix that to please.
    model 154257402.

    Thank you

    Model number incorrect

    [Frigidaire dishwasher] model 154257402.
I'm afraid that is not a model number but instead looks like a part number, possibly of the piece of paper/sticker/booklet you got it off. You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

LINK > Model Number Tag Location Guide

If you post the proper model number we can at least look it up to see what appliance design you're dealing with to hopefully suggest a course of action.

It happens when it starts to fill up with water.
It starts leaking even before it starts spraying??

How high is the water in the machine compared to the heating element?

      Hi Dan!
Thank you for replying. That number was inside the door, I will have to pull it out to see. Because for the life of me I keep all my books but cant find that one.
I will get back to you by this weekend.
      Thank you

It will NOT be on the back or sides!

That number was inside the door
The tag with the model number will actually say "Model" (or maybe "Mo." or "Mod.") and then give that information (see the following illustration). The model number will usually start with 3-4 letters then have numbers and letters too.

I will have to pull it out to see.
You do NOT have to pull out the dishwasher to get it.

I keep all my books but cant find that one.
The complete model number will NOT be on its manual anyway. The only place the complete information will be found is right in the dishwasher's identification tag which should be located where the Model Number Tag Location Guide link above described.

        JFYI

          Hi !
Well I replyed but it didnt go through.
          I found it!
          model number FDBC24BAS3
          Serial Number TH43769964
I found my books to! It said I had to clean the overfill protector ewww never new that.
I would be a person who washes the dishes first and then put them in the dishwasher, I know I know but I am.
SO I took that out cleaned it but nothing was there. Can I lift that filter up? maybe the tubing....
As you look at it it leaks left bottom side as soon as you turn it on!
          Hope this is enough info.
          waiting to hear
          thank you

            Inspection during operation necessary

it leaks left bottom side as soon as you turn it on!
Than the cause is less likely to be something inside the dishwasher tub. Maybe it is coming from a hose, the pump leaking or the seals where the heater element goes through the tub?

Someone will likely need to remove the dishwasher's lower access panel and watch as it fills to try to determine the exact origin of the leak. Once we know that we may be able to suggest a course of action.

Can I lift that filter up?
No filter should cause a leak outside of the machine so I wouldn't suggest fiddling with it before the above inspection is made.

I wash the dishes first and then put them in the dishwasher
That is not a good idea. The detergent needs food stuffs to act upon or else it can attack the finish of dishes and glasses, etc., leading to irreversible etching. At most the dishes should just be scraped of large food stuffs. NO rinsing under a tap should be done!
