maytag gas dryer

my maytag dryer model ldg9334aae won't stay lit a few days ago it quit working so i took the front cover off and started testing things with my meter and found the igniter was bad i replaced it and now it lights but won't stay lit the flame spits and sputters almost as if it had air in the line sometimes it will stay lit 5 seconds other times about 30 seconds and then relights after a minute or two i would realy appreciate some help i can't afford a new dryer or to just start replacing parts till i get it right

I am not a appliance guy but are you sure you got the orifice up in the burner
where it should be? Check the voltage at the valve and see if it is steady power when it is sputtering. Your vent is not plugged? Do you have a flame rod to prove fire? If so clean it with fine sand paper. If you have a air adjuster, is it set where it was before?. Can't think of any thing else right now. Let me know after you check. Paul
