  • Westinghouse 931 dishwasher leaks

    Bottom door seal replaced.
    Cabinet seal replaced.
apprx 2 minutes into the pre wash cycle, water starts to poor out of the middle bottom door.
Sounds like the water continues to fill. At one point of testing, the machine would not fill. A jolt of the machine caused the machine to start filling.
The waste water drain appears to be working albeit that the water can be syfened out.

    any idea please.

    Exact model number?

    Westinghouse 931 dishwasher
I don't know what that is but it isn't the model number which is what we need to determine the design of the machine in question. Please get it off the appliance's identification tag and post it so we can try to help you.

How high is the water level inside the tub? It should NOT be above the heating element.

Does it continue to fill with the door open?

I don't know what you mean by that. Please clarify.

        Fixed!

You must not be in North America. Dishwashers here don't use pressure switches to regulate fill height.

Thanks for the followup though. Glad to hear you figured it out.
