whirlpool side by side is freezing the food in the refrigerator

My whirlpool side by side (model # GS6SHAXLBO2) is freezing the food in the refrigerator. When I lower the dial for the fridge temp, I hear nothing change and the compressor never shuts off. The freezer side temp dial will open and close the little door in the back to let the cold air in. I also cleaned the coils underneath the fridge the best that I could. The fan underneath was working. I also manually shut off the ice maker. I'm thinking that it is the Temperature Control (OEM# WP2198202). Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Same problem with me, I just bring new compressor because repair recomended new compressor as i already made it repair 2 to 4 times 😁😁😁😁😁
