Scotsman SCCP50MB1SU Door Removal

I am attempting to switch out the handle on the icemaker, but I cant seem to find any of the screws to help me remove the exterior ro replace the handle. I know that the screws are behind a plate, as pictured in the right hand top corner of the second photo, but I do not know how to get the plate out of the way. Any help would be appreciated

Take a look at the image I uploaded, seems you just pop those hole plugs out to expose the screws. Good luck!
