hi, i got 2 broken ballast due to water infiltration (HID CAR LIGHT) so there is joinned the picture of the pieces that i point that i wanna know what is this(resistor, or ?)... i see burned terminals so i wanna change that piece to get it work again... thanks all

those are capacitors. look for a printed value on the paper sleeve. they are rated by dc voltage and microfarads.

appreciated... but these are cheapest ballast i ever seen... nothing wrote on or under the paper... i know these are 12v, but what capacitor microfarad you suggest me to test
