Vizio picture tube install....

Is it possible to replace the picture tube in a wide screen Vizio? I did it on the old tv's, but not sure if it's possible on these new ones.

flat screen

there is no picture "tube" per se on a flat screen.
lcd or plasma screen is a matrix of voltage points that illuminate the colored pixels.
the entire panel must be replaced.
check with the manufacturer or go to the avs forum. here they describe lcd and led screens.
