    LCD vs. PLASMA TV

I need some input from you hardened users of plasma versus LCD tv's. I've read some reviews for and against both LCD and Plasma now I need YOUR inputs. I'm thinking of a set 46" or larger. Avg lifespan on what I've read is 60,000 hrs or more. I know what screen "burn in" is and that shouldn't have any effect. The reviews say that Sharp is the ONLY set that has replacement lamps for the display. Plasma runs hotter than an LCD. Plasma weighs more than LCD. Inputs? R-G-B, Type "S" video? cable ready for HDTV etc.

got a LCD a couple months ago and love the thing, has all kinds of inputs, 2 HDMI, along with 3 RGB, and S video and a side input for all kinds of PC,Camera stuff.

    was a Philips 37 inch..

    good luck with your choice

Plasma's are like a regular tv, meaning the viewing angle it can be see in any direction. Blacks and whites are usually better.
