    Capacitor ?

    I have a 230v preasure pump with a bad start capacitor. The vendor sent me a replacement of exact part # but it is a 330v same mfd range. Would it work and what could be the problem if any?

      voltage is no problem as long as the mfd is the same. the 330 is the breakdown voltage.

          You can go 20% easily either way with start caps with no problem. We do it all the time.
