It seems that when my washer goes on the lights in two other rooms start to flicker noticably. This is especially noticable during the wash cycle. Does this point to a problem in the circuit, eg. loose wire at one of the outlets or fixtures. Or does it point to the incoming service at the breaker panel. Thanks for any help.

Could be many things.
An undedicated circuit to the washer (where other things are running off the same circuit)
A weak circuit breaker that feeds the washer.
A faulty panel.
Loose connections.
Even a bad main breaker.
Need more info here. Age of service, types of breakers, age of washer, type of wire (copper, alluminum)
