    S5 overheating

    Hi
Got my s5 Yesterday. Love the device. Only problem the screen and back get fire hot.

The phone was on 41 deg celcius yesterday (104+) and 39 this morning
Went from 28deg this morning to 38.9 in 12 min of use

What would be considered a normal running temp on a device like this.

Could it be the battery that is faulty

be more specific on device model number. s5 doesn't mean anything to me.

If I'm not wrong he is talking about the Samsung S5 but you are right be more specific on device model number. It's confusing just S5.

It is normal for the S5 to run hot. I have a link to a url that explains how to reduce the heating. this is: How To Fix Overheating Problem On Samsung Galaxy S5.
Reducing the number of running programs will lessen the heating. Don't run programs while the unit is in charge.
