I have a electric stove, when I was turning it on, the knob was hard to turn. There was a clicking noise behind the knob, then it threw the main breaker in the breaker box. Ater switching the breaker back on, the stove doesn't work. What could be the problem?

The "knob" is actually an electrical switch. It sounds like it shorted or burned out. You'll have to disconnect the stove from the power source and take the top off the stove to see it.
