ceiling fan switch

My Safer fan 3 speed switch went out. It is hard wired with blue, black, and red wires. The replacement switch isn't hard wired; it has slots for the wires. I can't find anywhere where to put the wires in the new switch nor can I find the replacement switch as apparently Safer no longer is in business. The fan runs great; I hate to replace it for lack of a switch. Suggestions? Thanks...

Can't you find another replacement switch that does have wires? Otherwise it has to come apart or have posts. Could you show us a picture?
