I am trying to run power to my work shop from a sub panal for my pool. I am running no.6 from the pool sub panal to the work shop and need a diagram showing the Hot, neurtal and ground hook-ups. Also a diagram showing the hook-ups of the sockets and lights to the breaker box.

    Thanks
    Ray

You need to buy yourself a good book, the Black and Decker book to Home wiring is an excellent book and will teach you lots.

Here's a link that'll show you how to connect a sub panel. You will notice in your pool sub panel that the neutral and ground wires are separate and have individual bus bars. You will need to maintain this same separatness when connecting these wires in your new sub panel. Do not install the bonding screw if your panel comes with one.
Detailed step-by-step instructions and pictures of how to install a subpanel.

Here's a link that'll show you how to install and connect a circuit breaker in the panel. Again, make sure the ground and neutral wires are separate.
