  • Suck cord

The cord from an old hand blender is stuck in a new GFI outlet. The prong onnthe right side pulss out; the prong on the left does not. I have previously plugged another electrical appliance into this outlet with no problems. What is the best and safest way to fix the problem?

    Thanks.

Not sure why it's stuck, could be a problem with either the GFCI or the plug. But to fix your problem, open the breaker for this circuit so the power is removed. Then cut the plug off the cord of the blender. Remove the GFCI and install a new one. You can buy a replacement plug to connect to your cord or maybe use this opportunity to buy yourself a new blender.
