    Solar Help

have been wanting to do a solar project. i found a solar panel. its specs:
    12volt
    1260 mw max power
    18volts(no-load)
    60-70mA

could i hook this up to a car battery to charge with out blowing something up? (it does have the nightime diode thing built in) i wanted to run some led lighting in our kitchen. they operate on:
    3.0-3.5Vdc
    20mA

i wanted to run around 10 of them.
would this charger be capable of charging the battery enough to run these lights?

    thanks

A solar array is possible - In the simplest of terms one panel can charge a car battery directly with diode protection to allow current flow in one direction. It will never bring the battery to full charge because there's always leakage in a diode called reverse current. LEDs operate on 3vdc with a current limiter resister in series with it.
