I love the looks of halogen lighting. Right now my kitchen has 3 fixtures that each have 2 60W Type A bulbs = 360W total. I want something that looks modern and I love the way halogens look. I was thinking for that main part I would get this...
Then over the sink I would get a pendant type with one halogen bulb. Maybe something like this (the clear type)...
Then over our small table I would get another identical pendant type with one halogen. Do you think this would provide adequate lighting? My kitchen is 14' X 8.5' with counters on both sides. The floor is white with specs of gray, the cabinets are a darker brown and the counter tops are light oak colored. Most of their fixtures have Halogen bulb GU10 35W reflector type. That is a common MR16, right? Could I replace them with 50W MR16s? Would the 35W ones provide enough light? Thanks
