What is the difference between T-12 and T-8 shop light bulbs?
Can T-5 HO bulbs be used in regular shoplight fixtures?

T-8 and T-12 refers to the physical size of the tubes the HO is high output and requires a ballast of the same HO output. The T-5/HO will probably not "fire" with a standard ballast.
