Wiring a Floodlight

I have looked for a while and found no post with the same question. I have a floodlight (400 watt) that needs to be installed and needs to run off of a simple 3 prong electrical outlet. I know little about wiring lights so the simpler the better. Is there a way to do this, if so please let me know. Thank you, Buck

you just want to plug in the floodlight? A 400 watt lamp draws 3.33 amps.

Does that mean it can't be done? I know nothing about that.
