I just moved into this house a couple of weeks ago and this place goes through lightbulbs like there is no tomorrow. Any ideas what is going on? This includes both incandecent and those compact florecents.

for the incandescent bulbs look on top of them and see the voltage figure. cheap bulbs like from family dollar are 120-125 volt. better bulbs are 130-135 volt. same goes for the compact flourescent. if you have a volt meter check the voltage in your outlets. if the voltage goes much higher than 135 volts call your utility.
