  • Wall Sconces

We want to install sconces behind the bed on either side of a picture. The walls are plaster and we cannot run wires behind them. Can we run the wires down the wall and cover them with a brass molding or painted molding? What would you recommend? Thanks, George

    George,

Yes you can. You can look at what is called 'premise track' and it comes in two parts, a u shaped channel that attaches to the wall and a cover strip that goes over it. They come in different sizes depending on the number of wires you need to hide. They also come in diferent colors and most are paintable.

Also you could check with you local lighting store to see if they have hollow brass rods/tubes that can hide the wire.

    Good luck, Jim
