  • Garage Outlets Not Working

None of my exterior or garage outlets work. I have an outlet in my bathroom with the little breaker buttons on it but that does nothing. Also the top socket in the bathroom has no power.

Any suggestions? Just replace the outlet?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

one half of the bathroom outlet may be switched. its a matter of try and check upstream of the bathroom. same applies for the garage circuit. if the garage was wired according to the old code, one of the outlets is a gfci outlet with the downstream side connected to the gfci. reset or replace the gfci.

Also try resetting your bathroom GFCI either at the outlet or on the panel, many times in the past it was acceptable to have all exterior outlets on the bathroom circuit (not allowed now), this was to have a GFCI protection on any and all outlets that may be effected by water...bathroom, exterior etc...
