  • Remote Light Control - Mystery

I have undercounter lights that are controlled by a remote control button. The control unit plugs into the outlet and receives a signal from the remote button to turn the lights on.. HOWEVER the lights also come on late at night without the remote control button being pushed???? I have tried three different brands of remote controls and the same thing happens to each of them.. Mysteriously the lights come on... so for now, I just leave everything unplugged. The remote unit is plugged into an outlet shared with a microwave (microwave not on when lights come on in middle of night).. Any ideas what in the house might be sending a signal to the remote control to turn the lights on in the middle of the night? Something is sending a signal... HELP

      Will Investigate X-10

I will look for the X-10 system. Looks very similiar to an older radio Shack system I might still have in a box in the garage. Thanks
