First, choose underground feeder (UF) cable, as this type of wire is made to handle moisture, making it perfect for burying in your garden. You might also want to put your wire inside a PVC pipe, known as conduit, which helps keep the wire safe from water and any potential damage. Just remember to seal the ends tightly to prevent any water from getting in! When digging a trench for the wire, aim for at least 12 inches deep; this will help keep the wire away from any water that might sit on the surface.
