    How to put carpet over concrete. Do I put down plastic?

    I saw on HGTV a special pad for carpets over concrete floors. concrete floors can be a moisture problem if not sealed properly.

      The better quality carpet padding is considered a moisture barrier, the backing will have the soft padding one side and usually blue plastic on the other side.
      Little about a lot and a lot about a little.
