  • Engineered floor over existing stairs

My steps are currently carpeted. I would like to remove the carpeting and install engineered hardwood (pre-finished) flooring right over the existing wood underneath the carpet.
    Is this possible?
Do the manufacturers make/sell all the necessary stair parts e.g. treads, risers, noses etc.
Do engineered hardwood floors for stairs need to be nailed? Can it be floating etc?
    Thanks for your time.

      Absolutely

Check out EZTREAD on the internet. You can get solid hardwood treads and risers in any species as well as everything else you need for your stairs. These treads and risers are specially designed to fit right over your existing staircase. Check it out. You won't be sorry. Acme Stairs also sells EZTREAD items over the internet.
