  • installing tile

I just installed ceramic tile in our bathroom, for a border I used small 2x4 non ceramic tiles. After grouting the small tiles seemed to have absorbed the color of the grout. I've tried soaking the tiles and scrubbing but the color is still there. Has anyone had this happen, and is there a fix?
    Thank-you

ok, I looked at their website. Those things aren't cheap! Ceramic tile is fired under high temperature from a clay substance and then glazed and re-fired. That noce travertine is natural quarry stone, in different colors. Just that fact that they are not fired makes them impervious to any colored liquid that comes in contact with them - in your case the liquid in your grout. I personally have no idea what you would do to cut the grout color in your "other" tiles. Sorry.
