  • Leveling garage floor

I've seen ads where companies come in and level concrete by injecting "stuff" under the concrete and raising it until it's level. Usually this is with sidewalks that aren't weight bearing. Would this work with a garage floor addition that's sloping ~.75" over 8'. The length is 20'. I'm sure it could probably be done but is it worth the cost? l assume that the slab and stem wall for the exterior wall& roof are separate.
    Thx,

Yes, polyurethane foam lifting can be a good solution for leveling your garage floor, even with a slope of 0.75 inches over 8 feet. This method involves injecting a special foam under the concrete, which expands to lift and level the slab. It's generally less disruptive and often cheaper than tearing out and re-pouring the concrete. However, it’s important to ensure that the existing slab and surrounding structure can handle the lifting process and that any underlying issues, like poor drainage, are addressed. Consulting with a professional can help you determine if it's the best option for your situation and whether it's worth the cost compared to other methods.
