We have a gas furnace in the basement and one in the attic. The one in the attic seems to blow air that is colder than the one in the basement. Does anyone have any idea if this is normal and what the reason is?

    thanks in advance

I couple of things come to mind. The temp of the air coming out can very by what speed is being used on the blower, Faster blower moves more air so temp would be lower.
The next thing would be how good the ducts are insulated. Between cycles the ducts could be getting a lot cooler so the normal cycle take a lot of time just to warm the duct up. Make sure that duct work in the attic is sealed good and insulated real good. Paul
