Heat smell when A/c kicks on
I am having many issues with my a/c. It cools so thats a good thing but it is costing me a lot. We have a 1500sq ft house no pool nothing big electric wise. Our bill during summer has been around $350! Winter we still use the a/c 
and is about $250 our friend same size house but with pool and hot tub running her bill is $150 at most during winter and at most $225 during the summer. We have the same amount of people in house. Anyway so back to my topic 
For the last 2 weeks or so we have been noticing that when the a/c kicks on you have that heat smell. You know that smell of when you just turn the heat on. The air coming out is also warm then turns to cold! While an a/c guy was here fixing the leaking a/c pipe he checked to see if the a/c and heat were on at the same time and he said nope its probably just an electrical type smell. This does not sound right to me! How can this be normal? I for once would like to find a good a/c company that is not going to screw around with me! ANy advice for me? Has anyone had this happen? Anyone know of a good a/c guy in Tampa bay area?
