My furnace is a new Bryant 312AAV 80+ 70,000 BYU heating 1,600 sq. ft. home. I have it set for temperature setback from 70 to 65 for the overnight hours. 11:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. At 6:00 A.M. the furnace begins bringing up the temperature but it takes until about 7:15 A.M. to come back to 70 degrees. Can this be normal? The furnace does have a 2 stage burner and a two speed blower. Thanks for your imput.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. Normally, depending on the lay-out, a "set-back " of 5 degrees would take approx from 20-30 mins, or less. (This could be a burner stage problem). But, there are other various reasons why some furnaces take longer than another to recover a set-back. First, when your furnace starts this recovery, does the burner stay on the whole time.(75 min), or does the burner shut off periodically and come on a few minutes or so later? Post back with info and we will advise further Hube
