    Window unit. Any ideas?

Is it turning itself off or tripping the breaker?

Does this air conditioner just drip water to the outside or is there a pan where the condensation collects. If there's a receiving pan, maybe it's full.

If it's not tripping the breaker, and normally only portable air conditioners have condensate containers, I don't know of any reason why a window air conditioner would turn itself off. The best thing to do in a case like this is phone the manufacturer's 1-800 customer service phone number. If you're having this problem, then lots of people with the same air conditioner are as well, and the manufacturer would have investigated the problem to find out why it's happening.

It drips out the window. Do you mean the breaker in the fuse box to the house? If so it is not tripping that. Thanks I will try the 800 number in the morning.

        Keeping fingers crossed

It stayed on through the night, so hopefully it was some kind of fluke and it is behind us now.
