  • Bryant 80 plus won't turn on

All of sudden my furnance won't turn on. The led is not blinking at all and there is no error on the thermostat. I cleaned the sensor. I got it to kick on one time for like 15 seconds and then it turned off. I killed the power and gas with no luck. Any other tips?

    furnace

check your furnace diagram to see what is in series with the gas valve. there are safety devices that must be made up before anything operates. check for closed roll-out switches. check for a closed switch on a cabinet door - called an interlock. check to see that your main burner flame hasn't come up over the burner cover and melted any wires above the burner.

none of that was it. I fixed it today by replacing the flux capacitor. Wasn't too bad after I got it going.

        huh?

what the heck is a flux capacitor? I've heard about it in "back to the future" but not on a real time heater!
