  • red and green led flashing on York TM9V furnace

    Hi everyone,

I am concerned about my furnace. It is a York TM9V gas furnace that is about 3 years old. This evening my wife was down in our basement and she said she heard a "pop" sound in the furnace room. She wasn't sure if it was something that had fallen in the room or if it was something else. In this room there is a tankless water heater and the furnace for appliances. I checked the furnace and found that both a green flashing "CFM" led and red flashing "status" led. The manual speaks about a red led flashing but not with the green. The flashing is the std on/off and is continuous. The furnace seems to be working fine. Any advise, comments, suggestions?

    Thanks.

    lights

the light marked cfm might mean "cubic feet per minute" and refers to the air flow through the blower. or if the furnace is gas or propane, could mean gas pressure is too low.

      heres the answer

It sounds like the furnace is operating normally.

Not sure what your wife heard.
