Any one have any experience in a remedy for curing a "firing" delay?. This OIL Burner is a Beckett afg, only 5 years old, has been well looked after and serviced every year. It has a ignition transformer that is supposed to give out 10,000 Volts for igniting.(i am told the output, because its apprx 5 years old, it can only now manage 7000 or so volts, and this sometimes is not allowing it to fire and therefore the burner goes into a 'lockout'. I have heard there is a "electronic ignitor" on the market that is supposed to up the voltage to 14,000, thus eliminating any firing delays. This Electronic Igniter is supposed to make all smooth light-ups.
