I am going to replace my White Rodgers 1F56-301 thermostat with a honeywell digital programmable. I am in Central Florida and have a single stage Coleman Suncutter Heat pump and 4 wires to the thermostat. Terminals are Green to G, White to W, Red to Rc (Rc jumpered to Rh), and a blue wire to the Y terminal.
An inexpensive CT3200 looks like it should work, but the data sheet says no.
Do I really need a more expensive thermostat with a B and O terminal, if I only have 4 wires?
Any help very appreciated.
