I have an Amana Air Command 90 that is about 15 yrs old. Recently it has decided to run when it wants to. We had a repair man out here and the outside drain pipe was clogged, so we cleaned it out, and it worked. Still it runs when it wants to. We called and were told to check the drain plug inside the furnace and have no idea where to look for this. Blew on the two hoses and rusty water came out. Repair man says our furnace is old but nothing is wrong with the control panel or our thermastat it has to do with the draining. I just want to know how to get to this drain trap on the inside of furnace. Usually at night is when it quits working. It will not run on the program (Honeywell thermastat).
