Hi:
I have a Unitary Products Induced Draft Gas Furnace (Model EU0116G095A). It does not have a pilot light but uses hot surface igniter. It was "tuned-up" by the gas company about two months ago. After the tune-up, I replaced the old smaller filter to the proper size filter recommended by the service technician. Last week when I turned on the heat, hot air came on for about 30 minutes and before the set temperature was reached, the flame went off. The fan continued to run since it was set to ON and only cold air emerged from the registers. When the thermostat was set above the room temperature and the fan set to AUTO , you could hear a click and the induced draft blower was activated. However, the hot surface igniter did not glow and the burners did not light. Also, the circulating blower never came on. There was no gas smell. The draft blower remained on until the heat was turned off. What is causing the problem? Please help! Thanks a lot!
