I am looking for a RobertShaw thermostat owner's manual for an progrmable unit that has the number D3400 stamped on the inside of the cover. The unit is rectagular, has one AA battery and a clock-timer with two controls that apparently allow the off and on times to be set.

Has anyone had an occurrence of a Laser 730 or 731 over firing?
The top of the heat chamber and the heat exchanger glow red on high when this occurs....
