I am looking for a replacement part for a Lennox HP23112P ( S/N 5894G13642)
A fused was tripped and was found on the Defrost Control Board. I believe this prevents the AC Coils from freezing during the Winter
what does this "board" look like, how much is it and how hard to install.
I do not have the money to pay someone to replace it, so i am doing it myself.

Please Help before it gets really cold.

the air conditioner coils can't freeze in winter! the freon that travels within the coils boils at minus 22 degrees! the defrost on an air conditioner defrosts the evaporator coils in case there is an ice build up on them. I would say that the control board controls a heater of some sort or controls a reversing solenoid in the freon line so hot gas goes through the coils.
