I have a Lennox gas heater under the house. Just set the thermostat up a bit as it has been at 60 degrees. Left the house for a bit and came back to a knocking sound that was rattling everything in the house. Went out, and the gas meter was ticking on and off. Looked under the heater, and the pilot light appeared to be firing on and off also, or at least shooting higher every 1/2 second or so. When I removed the control panel cover, in the bottom right there was something clicking and sparking at the same frequency. Any suggestions? No manual, and Lennox said they lost all their files when St. Louis flooded!
