my oil furnace was recently cleaned and a new nozzel and in-line filter installed. My problem is, when the furnace fires up there is a very strong oil smell in the house. This smell is only there when the furnace is running, almost smells like unburnt or partialy burnt oil. Could my igniters be out of wack to cause this smell?, or is there an other area i can look at. Thank you,

Welcome to the forum... Having the furnace cleaned and a new nozzle is certainly proper maintenance, But, in most cases there is more to it than just having that done. Proper ADJUSTMENTS to air/fuel ratio, barometric damper, electrode gap and position, pump pressure, etc, etc...Unless you have a good knowledge and testing equippment, best to have a Pro with the required testing equipment set it up right. If its set up properly there should be no odor at all. Also, it will be more efficient as to fuel consumption. Good luck, Hube
