Okay guys I have an older bryant furnace, where the igniter AND inducer motor both went out basically at the same time. Both easily installed however when the thermostat calls for heat, sometimes the burner will not light completely? Just one of the manifold outlets will light, and then go out as the flame sensor detects nothing. it will go thru this same cycle several times before it stops and has to be reset.

what is causing the manifold to not light completely? there's plenty of gas, as I manually lit the burner with a propane torch, and it lights about half the time just fine?

One thing could be dirty burners. You said you just changed the inducer. It sounds like you have a problem with the burner air flowing through the burner compartment. Things that can change the air flow. Make sure the gasket behind the inducer is in good shape and the inducer is bolted on tight.
the inducer has a round hole on the back side that goes against the furnace.
the inducers look the same, but there are different size holes in the back,
for the different size furnace. Double check you numbers and make sure you
have the right one. Check the hole size on the back with the old one, I have
seen them packaged wrong. Did you get you burner cover door on tight with a good gasket? later paul
