Trane Control Module replacement part

Hello all,

I have a Trane TUE080A936K3 and I am trying to find a replacement control module. I had a professional come out and tell me that mine was shot (blower would not start) and he has never been back to replace it so I would like to purchase it myself and reinstall it.

The control module Trane part number is CNT 2789 and White-Rodgers number 50A55-571. I think I have found two different replacements at two different price points: Trane CNT 03797/White-Rodgers 50A55-486-04 at $96 or the White-Rodgers 50A55-843 at $93. Both say they replace my original board.

Is there a major difference between the two? Which is the correct one to purchase?

It really does not make much difference. Some times you have to change some wires around if it is not a direct replacement. So read the paper work real close.
If all else fails, call a service man. later paul
