Has anyone used water heating rods for heating water? I want to know if they are safe to use, specifically when it is turned on for heating. Also are they more energy efficient than traditional water heaters? Someone told me it is better to use electric/gas water heaters than using a rod. I am on a tight budget, traditional water heaters will be too costly at the moment and I am looking for budget-friendly alternates, thank you.

You're welcome, Downaski. For heating small quantities, like a bucket of water, they can be quite energy-efficient since they apply direct heat to the water. However, for larger amounts or frequent use, traditional electric or gas water heaters might actually be more efficient overall, even though they’re costlier upfront.
Heating rods are generally safe if you keep them fully submerged in water while they’re on. It’s essential not to touch the water while the rod is plugged in and heating. Also, make sure the rod is unplugged before removing it from the water to avoid any electrical risks.
